Red Quill

This is an excellent fly pattern for eastern Hendrickson hatches and for the western mayfly hatches of the rithrogena and the cinygmula mayflies. Developed in the 1940's by Art Flick this pattern has been around a long time. Color, Red Quill.Dry fly in sizes: 12, 14, 16.

"Here in New Mexico,this is a great fly in the high country when used to represent the Rhithrogenia hatches. I always keep several dozen handy and use them year 'round."
