"Although the bed took several days longer to arrive than I was told by a sales associate at the store, I am extremely pleased with it. It is easy to put together, sturdy, and very attractive. It looks great with my cottage-style bedroom furniture."

"We ordered this bed for our cabin and overall, we like it now that it is assembled. Decent quality for the price but expect $100+ shipping costs on top of the cost of the bed.

What prompted me to leave a review is the frustration we damage and missing parts.

We hauled the bed to our cabin, only to discover the bed frame was damaged. I suspect this was caused by the common carrier but still, very frustrating.

When the new frame arrived and we set about assembly, we then discovered pieces of the headboard were missing as well as the hardware needed to attach both the headboard and footboard.

To their credit, Orvis got replacements out very quickly.

If you purchase this bed, check for damage and missing parts right away."
