"I bought this wallet for my husband and am very pleased with the purchase! He desperately needed
a new wallet, and seemed reluctant to make the move to replace his old one. Since he was recently promoted at his job, I thought it was a nice way to commemorate the accomplishment and an excuse to rid him of his old falling apart one.
He loves Orvis products, so I read reviews and ordered.
Additionally, he went from a Trifold style to this BiFold and is
very pleased with the size and quality. The engraving was an added touch and nicely done.
He's so picky and I was anxious he might not like it as well as the old one, but this was a winner!"

"The wallet meets my criteria. It is of good quality, has plenty of room for my cards and dollars, and the bison leather feels nice. If you're wanting a window for your ID the wallet is missing one, but I like it that way."

"I really like this wallet. I overloaded my first with business cards but won't do that again. I liked it enough to buy another one. My first lasted over two years with being overloaded and constantly retrieving cards and refilling it giving it quite the workout. I am definitely a fan. No overfilling this time."

"I recommend getting it initialed. It was a great surprise Christmas gift. Several of my husband's friends have since asked where he got it. Nice, soft leather and slim enough to fit in his back pocket without irritating him (as his last wallet did.)"

"This wallet is of excellent quality and can be personalized with initials. I gave one to each of my five sons with their initials. I also tucked in some cash. They loved the wallets especially the initials. The bison leather is soft and has a great aroma. I highly recommend this item."

"Bought for my son as a gift before he shipped off to Afghanistan. Fell apart within 30 days. I can't tell if I just got an irregular or if the entire product run is defective. After extolling the virtues of Orvis products to him, this was embarrassing. So much for craftmanship and quality. Very disappointing."

"Wallet has 4 credit card slots on each side of the fold. This feature privides the carrying capacity for a total of 8 credit cards, which are partially exposed and easily available. Most other wallets have only 3 slots per side for a total of 6 cards. The extra 2-card capicity is helpful."

"I have used Alligator wallets for the past 30 years due to the lasting durability of alligator leather. My last wallet cost me over $700 but it lasted for 12 years. I just couldn't bring myself to spend that kind of money again and opted for the Bison wallet from Orvis. It is an incredible value. I have only used it for a week (Christmas gift), but am really impressed at how it looks. It is worth every penny and I expect it will last at least a few years. It is the kind of product you would expect from a brand like Orvis. High quality, good looks and feel and overall good value. Not cheap but who wants a cheap wallet. This is Orvis quality at its best. If you're looking for a wallet that will meet your high expectations, then this is it."

"Very pleased with the wallet. It is well made with 8 card pockets and 2 money sections. Problem with the plastic insert for pictures. Pulled it out and could not easily get it back in the pocket. Decided not to use it. Embossed initials add a nice touch to the wallet."

"The billfold I received is very unique and all I had hoped it would be. The bison leather is very soft and the size is perfect for my back pocket. Having initials on it makes it particularly special to me. It is the first time I had ever had anything like this. The inside of the billfold is excellent for identification, credit cards, and pictures, which is optional. At first I was concerned that if I misplaced the billfold anyone would know it was mine since the initials are on it, but then I realized my identification would be in it also. It is a great product."

"I bought this wallet for my husband for Christmas and he loves it. The leather is fine quality and I know it will last a long time. He had been looking for a wallet with a lot of card slots that wasn't too bulky. This fits the bill. And the monogram mades it special. A good product. On the pricey side but worth it."

"First of all it is American Made! Which is there primary reason I chose this wallet.
Seems well made and is very nice looking. The leather is supple and it easily fit my husbands credit cards in it as well as cash without being difficult to close.
He only just got it so not sure how well it will hold up with extended use, but considering his last wallet was over 15 years old and not nearly as well made I have high hopes for this one!!"
