"I purchased this for my husband, for a bar we were building. It is GREAT to look at! As other reviews have stated, the chin section that should "open" the bottles is too short. These should have a trial run before they leave the warehouse?!"

"It looks great in my brother-in-laws cabin, but it DOES NOT function as a bottle-opener. If you just want a decoration, it is fine but you'll still need your bottle-opener!"

"While the moose has wonderful novelty value, it DOES NOT FUNCTION as a bottle opener. The part of the moose's chin that is supposed to engage the edge of the bottle cap is not long enough to do so. The bottle cap slips past the chin without getting enough of a grip to open. Futhermore, the two screws supplied to mount the opener are of soft metal and the heads are easily stripped. I cannot speak regarding the bear or the dog models, but I RECOMMEND NOT BUYING the moose."
