This charming farm–house table is made entirely from rustic reclaimed wood salvaged from old barns throughout the American Midwest. Styled after a simple traditional table design, it has a tongue–and–groove planktop and unadorned straight legs. Treated with natural beeswax finish. Approximately 30"H. Handcrafted overseas with reclaimed American wood. Some assembly required.Originally brought to the early colonies by European immigrants the ladderback chair has evolved to have a distinctly American heritage. Crafted of native birch wood, this sturdy design has an authentic handwoven rush seat. Walnut finish. 43"H x 19½"W x 16½"D.

Nice Table - minor issues, February 19, 2009

"The description says that the table is made with wood salvaged from the midwest but the sticker on the bottom says made in Vietnam. The description says it is pine barn wood but the tag that came with the table says it is cypress from a pickle factory. It has a stain finish and is medium/dark brown. The picture looks to have more gray in it. One of the four legs didnt fit well and I had to use a chisel to remove wood to assemble it. One of the casters on the bottom of the legs was broken (minor issue)

Table is very nice and we like it but it was not exactly what we expected."
