"Everything about this vest is excellent from size, fit and material. The only thing that surprised me was the weight. This is a heavier leather vest to be worn in cooler temps. Nice but not particularily fancy. This is a vest you can work in, ride a horse or do an auction. Not a wear to church or dinner type. It is tough. I like vests and this one is one of the best for using during the day."

"In Texas we appreciate a good western-style cowhide leather vest and this fills the bill. Fit is exactly to stated size and length is just right for a "regular" sportcoat guy without being too long for a "short" size like I am. Finish and stitching are fine and construction is strong. The leather is supple, of even color and the lining is first quality. Pockets are exceptionally well finished, inside and out. Note that the inside "wallet" pocket is just deep enough for a "hip" length wallet and that the interior zipper pocket is shallow--about like a tobacco pouch or change purse in depth. I had hoped for a deeper "secretary" or ticket length inside pocket.

I bought this for the notched lapel to wear as a dress-up layer and a windbreaker in the shoulder seasons both in Texas and on my European travels, where the rig will have a novelty value."
