"I purchased this item in preparation for a trip to Europe, and in anticipation of future hunting and fishing trips. It is large and sturdy yet lightweight and easy to maneuver through a crowded airport.
It held everything I needed for 10 days with room left over. The wheels are smooth and it met the airline luggage size requirements. No problems here!
The separate compartment at the bottom is ideal for dirty clothes, or for boots or bulky items that wouldn't fit easily into a suitcase. It also has velcro straps to secure a take-down gun case."

"Similar in almost all respects to the vented duffle, but it is easily distinguished by its two-tone color, which matches the magnum duffle and the shooters' gear bag.
What sets this duffle apart is its extra couple inches of length which allows it to accomodate not only the first class gun case, but if one wanted - the Safe Passage "carry-it-all-on" rod and reel case can easily nest in the lower compartment - how great is that?! AND at a fantastic price point, almost like Orvis paying me to buy it!
Like the vented duffle this luggage can stand on end, has in-line skate wheels and the same netted inside storage. If you're looking at the vented duffle - consider this hunting version also!"

"Ecellent new bag : light for airline , well made and done ! Only one bad comment : to short by a few inches to accomodate a 4 pieces , 10 foot fly rod . In fact i would like to know if Orvis produce ANY duffle bag long enough for a 4 pieces 10 foot rod ???"
