"My female Brittany has a rough time in brush and cover,getting her belly scratched and bleeding, til now . I purchased this vest and its made a huge difference for her. I did change it by adding an extra length of cordura to the back of the belly area where its cut out for a male, maybe 6 more inches and let it hang down like a mudflap. this way it doesnt chaff between her legs but comes up to protect her lower belly as she slides over brush, briers and fences. We just returned from a week of hard hunting in South Dakota with not a scratch on her! Last year she was a mess with her belly scratched and raw. Cant wait to see how it handles the nasty WV Grouse and Woodcock cover. My hunting buddies call her "The Machine" cause of the way she hunts heavy cover, now theres no holding back! Thanks"
