"I got this vest a week ago and it fits the bill. It has great style and well made. The pockets are large enough for shell and enough room for a nice sweater under the vest. After shooting you can go out to eat and still look good. A great buy for the money."

"This vest puts in me in mind of the fine quality outdoor clothing my grandfather wore. Just add the smell of mothballs, and it would be a trip into the past for me. I truly love this vest, and the photo absolutely does this great vest an injustice. It's a classic, and I know of no one who wouldn't love to have it!"

"Purchased one of these last year before a fly fishing trip in the Appalachians. this is truly a classic befitting the Orvis name and reputation. Solid material and craftsmanship that should give a lifetime of service. A note on fit, I wear a 40 REG suit and the smallest size, medium, was still plenty large on me. If they made a small, I would buy one."

"The pics don't really do this vest justice, this is a great looking and very substantial piece of outerwear/ insulation . The cut is generous enough to accomodate a wool sweater underneath, and then you've really got a warm outfit. I work in the trades (glorified carpenter) and even the guys I work with have been admiring how nice this vest is & the price is very reasonable for what you get."
