great for older dog, November 18, 2009

"We have a 12 year old German Shepherd that appears to be much more comfortable eating and drinking from this raised dog feeding station. Prior to the purchase, she would lie down to eat or drink from her dishes at floor level, and with advancing age, it was becoming difficult for her. We also like the backsplash feature of this feeding station, as it protects the wall from the waster splashing when she drinks water."

Good Value, Tidy Product, October 30, 2009

"We purchased the small one for our 24 lb. cockapoo and it is a good size - larger dogs could also use.
The overall size of unit is not small. It keeps the food and water bowls neatly held in place and I do not have to wipe under them or use a placemat which we love. We have white cabinets in the kitchen and this blends in beautifully.
We had our dog's name stamped on and we say that our "Buddy" has his own "dinner table" now!"

Beautiful and Sturdy, August 6, 2009

"I have owned my Bar Harbour feeder now for a month and I am so happy that I purchased it. I chose the large size for my 45-lb. Bluetick Coonhound, and it fits her well. It helps to slow her down while she is eating. From reading other reviews about wooden feeders, I was worried about the wood cracking and/or development of mold. To test this feeder, I have never cleaned up any water which splashes onto the wood. So far, absolutely no problems, the wood still looks great. The feeder looks very nice in my kitchen. Assembly was easy and straightforward. The feeder is very sturdy and heavier than I expected, which is nice in a house with three dogs."
