"This product has been a great addition to our home! No more water all over the floor, which is great since we have hardwood. Our dog used to have water puddles underneath the previous mat, and it was starting to create a water spot on the floor. This has solved the problem! Any food that falls also lands onto the mat making it very easy to clean up. I tried several other products before this one, and wish I had found this sooner! I would recommend this to anyone...messy dog or not. The personalization also looks really nice."

"I recently moved into a house with hardwood floors. I was concerned about them getting damaged by water because one of my cats loves to play in her water bowl. These mats work great!!! They are also attractive, very durable and easy to clean. The personalization is a great extra. I would definitely recommend these as they are well worth the price."

"I've owned 3 poodles, and all of them have hated to eat on my tiled kitchen floor. And how many times have you walked through the kitchen and kicked over their water bowl? This Orvis Pet Placemat and Water Trapper is worth its weight in hours of back-breaking work, mopping up and scrubbing up stuck on food, or picking up dry dog food my present poodle used to carry to the carpet to eat. "I had wanted to purchase this mat for a while. Somehow, I just put up with my Lab's messing water drinking habit too long. We had tried other water absorbing mats that we bought at local stores. They just got nasty after a couple of months. This one is in great condition. I cannot believe how well is absorbs water and does not even look like it is wet."

"We bought one of these mats, after our plastic dog food mats finally bit the dust. Once we tried this mat for awhile, we bought two more. These are not just water trappers - these mats trap food, dust, cookies, crumbs, stray tufts of cat and dog hair... All I have had to do so far to clean it is hold it over the sink and shake it. One time I took a dry brush to it and in 2 seconds it was as new. Wonder when a large size is coming out - like for half the kitchen? Just joking. There is nothing like this mat. It's great. An incredible time saver and well worth every dime."
