No More Wet Wood Floors!,

"We recently adopted a 6 y.o. German Shepherd. I've never owned a GSD who has such a 'lust' for the water bowl! The Orvis mat has been a life saver! It's large enough to catch all water that he slops out of the bowl, then it just magically disappears! I checked the floor underneath several times before I was convinced that the water would NOT go through the mat. The mat is also non slip plus it sits so flat on the floor that there's no problem with tripping over a corner as with other mats. The free personalization was also a nice touch! Great product!"

"I purchased this for my Labrador because he was splling water over his dish onto my hard wood floors and damaging them. I read the reviews and it seemed like it was worth the cost, so I ordered a mat. However, my dog still spills water onto the mat and the water seeps through to the hard wood floors, so my problem was definitley not solved by ordering this product. Also, when I received the mat the rubber was dry and cracked on the bottom, I am not sure if that is a product default or not."

"I have 2 bassethounds that can dribble and make a watery mess but this mat has worked well in containing the water..looks good and I have other mats that I have purchased for at the entrance door and they are equally helpful in preventing alot of dirt and mud from entering the house on their paws..would definitely recommend any of the waterhog products"

"We have 3 dogs who REALLY ENJOY their water. Our linoleum ended up with hard water stains even though I had the waterer in a large plastic tray. When we replaced the floor we moved their water outside, but the dogs never adjusted and we would forget to refill their water.
We decided to give the mat a try. It's only been a week, but so far there are NO visible spills and no muddy tracks by the waterer even with an extra dog here visiting for the holidays.
I would buy this again and I would recommend it to anyone with 'drippy' pets."

"I have one of these mats for each of my Westies The mats are very good at keeping my floors dry. Being puppies, my little dogs manage to drip, dribble and knock water out of their bowls and onto their mats on a regular basis. I think the mats are nice looking and effective though they do hang onto dog hair and crumbs a bit because of the grooves and the fabric. I hose them off every once in a while and they look as good as new. They are a little expensive but unlike cheaper mats, they do work. I would recommend these mats to any dog owner."

"We have 3 large dogs and it seems they are all thirsty at the same time. Before we got the watertrapper pet mats, after they all got a drink, our kitchen floor was soaked! We were constantly mopping up water...no more. These mats are great and do exactly what they advertise. "This product has been a great addition to our home! No more water all over the floor, which is great since we have hardwood. Our dog used to have water puddles underneath the previous mat, and it was starting to create a water spot on the floor. This has solved the problem! Any food that falls also lands onto the mat making it very easy to clean up. I tried several other products before this one, and wish I had found this sooner! I would recommend this to anyone...messy dog or not. The personalization also looks really nice."

"I've owned 3 poodles, and all of them have hated to eat on my tiled kitchen floor. And how many times have you walked through the kitchen and kicked over their water bowl? "I had wanted to purchase this mat for a while. Somehow, I just put up with my Lab's messing water drinking habit too long. We had tried other water absorbing mats that we bought at local stores. They just got nasty after a couple of months. This one is in great condition. I cannot believe how well is absorbs water and does not even look like it is wet."
