Good, unless you have an overzealous dog,

"All three of our dogs ADORED the canine genius . . . until one of them starting tearing chunks off the narrow end. Not very long lasting for the money, I would say."

"This toy passed the Puggle chew test. She has not been able to chew or tear this apart. It does meet my expectations and I would buy another one."

Boo...Not a good value for my chewer.,
May 4, 2009
By:
sassyzephyr
"I was somewhat skeptical when I purchased one everlasting fun ball and one canine genius, especially for the price. I thought these would be tough enough for my 20 lb. 10 month old beagle to chew on without destroying for months. Unfortunately, he chewed them to bits in a matter of minutes! I wasted my money hoping that these would be resilient enough for his strong chewing. He did have fun with them while they lasted. Fortunately, he has no desire to eat the pieces he created out of each toy. I expected more durability for the price. Lesson learned."

Orvis contacted this customer and apologized that these toys did not withstand the pet's chewing. We did offer an exchange for one of our ToughChew dog toys.

Excellent Product,

"We purchased the Waggle and the Everlasting Fun Ball for our 14 month old English Bulldog, over 2 months ago and it still looks brand new. She has torn apart every other chew toy we have gotten within minutes of getting them. She chews on these toys everyday and they still look like new. Excellent products."

Weimie,
December 29, 2008
By:
Weimiefrom Lewistown, PA
"We got this toy for our 10 month old Weimie and she really likes it. I took her to work with me and I knew I would need to have something to entertain her with. So, I filled the Genius with some treats and packed it in her bag and off we went. It worked!! She was entertained with it for quite some time. The fun has continued at home and I switch up the treats to keep her mind wondering!!"

True Everlasting Toy,
November 30, 2008
By:
LuckyMom
"Our pit bull terrier makes short work of every "invincible" toy except the Everlasting Fun Ball. She has had the large one for two years and the small one for a year, and both look new despite daily fetch and chew sessions. It's almost unbelievable. The large ball is too large to roll under most furniture, which makes it our preferred size; otherwise Lucky lies on her side, pawing at the small ball lodged under a chair, crying piteously until we retrieve it."

Best Tough Chew Toy,
February 20, 2008
By:
Chewbacca
"Canine Genius toys are worth every penny. They are tough enough to withstand my retrievers who would otherwise chew the furniture. You can interlock multiple Canine Genius toys, which increases the intellectual distraction for curious, busy puppies and adolescent dogs. You can freeze food inside the toys so that it takes even longer to get the reward. Highly recommended for active chewers."

Twist & Treat is great!,
October 4, 2007
By:

"My jack russell terrier can destroy virtually any toy, however, the Twist & Treat is tough enough and entertaining enough to appease my terrier! He loves flipping it over with his nose to dispense treats to himself!"

Not for chewers,

"I purchased a rubber Chill Pill made by Loopies for my two 6 month old Chocolate Labs. It took them about 10 minutes to rip the rubber toy into pieces. I would not recommend this toy for breeds that are notorious chewers."
