"Love it! This vest is everything as advertised and then some. Perfect for those cool days when you don't want to be bothered with a coat, goes with anything, and has enough pockets that you don't need to carry a purse. What's not to like? Size is true to all Orvis clothing and the adjustable waist let's you "slim it down" if you want."

"Bought this vest for my sister who likes trecking/hiking, and always carries cameras and other gears. The color is very basic, go with any outdoor clothing she has, and pockets hold most of her camera equipment & valuables neatly. Forget the khaki side!,

"I recently bought this vest for an international trip because I thought that it was attractive in the catalog. The material is soft and there are 8 pockets total. I started wearing it black side out on the plane and quickly discovered that the khaki side was picking up the color of the clothes next to it and looked very dirty--so I was never able to wear it khaki side out. It would be a great vest if it were all black."

"Bought this vest in 2008 and wore it extensively thru all of Europe that year. It is light weight, stylish, wears & washes well; looks good over short & long sleeves. Can look casual with jeans, or dressed up with black slacks and one of Orvis' long-sleeve white no-iron blouses. Either side of this reversible vest complements all colors; eliminates carrying a purse, if needed. Loved it!
To my chagrin I lost mine in Salzburg, Austria, this month. Luckily my daughter is gifting me with another one for my upcoming birthday. I highly recommend buying this vest."

"The vest looks good, fits well, has a nice feel to it. I ordered it for a trip to Europe, and I did wear it on the various plane connections, but out and about it felt like I was wearing a plastic bag. Have it on, sweat like a pig; take it off---ahhhhhhh! The fabric doesn't breathe at all. The only place I could wear it was in Sweden--at the end of October."

"When I purchased this item I thought it would be a useful garment during my travels through UK and France on a garden tour in June/July. I hardly had it off my back. Probably wore it most days, whether on the black side or the reversible beige. It went with everything. The big plus was the pockets. I felt safe in putting passports, cash, etc. in various pockets so that if I ever did have a problem with pickpockets, they'd have to attack all 8 pockets to find everything. "Recently, my husband and I traveled a distance of over 5,000 miles and I wore the travel vest to hold my travel checks and money, so that I would not have to carry a large purse. It was very attractive and comfortable to wear. It did not wrinkle or bunch up and was also water repellent. To change the look of the vest I reversed it and it worked very well on either side. This is a great product and I look forward to wearing it again in the future."
