"Bought this outfit for steel head fishing.Took it for smallies today to try it out.Looks like it will be my main outfit from now on.My fishing buddy tried it out and was really shocked with how nice it was,and how it handled.And his stuff is a high priced rods. "I am a 20 year old college student that purchased this rod for a trip down to the Florida Keys. This rod is of very good quality. Does not fish like a cheap rod and does not tire you out after a long day. Handled everything from small hammerheads to large bones. An excellent rod if you are on a budget."
