"I have owned this rod for approximately 3 years, and it has served me well on a variety of rivers and stillwaters here in Scotland. It is ideal for taming spirited wild brownies, but it also packs enough muscle to bring stocked rainbow trout to the net. The real beauty is in its adaptability: it can easily fish dries, wets, nymphs, Czech nymphs, loch style etc., and doesn't suffer when uprated to a 6-wt line.

This rod is ideal for cash-strapped students such as myself, but anyone could use it."

"I teach flyfishing at the college level and have had the opportunity to use several brands of rods. This is one of the finest entry level rod I have ever used and recommend it to our classes. It is easy to cast and has great sensitivity and class. I will have more for me personally"
