Gokey Custom Lightweight Upland Boot

A 33% lighter version of the Classic, this men's hunting boot is constructed to the same exacting standards as any Gokey boot, but the upper is made of lightweight ballistic nylon. The boot is fully leather lined for comfort, and the sole is a Goodyear lug-sole for superior traction. This is a great upland hunting boot with the incredible life expectancy of every quality Gokey hunting boot. Same lacing configuration as the Classic. Men's hunting boot available in brown with green ballistic nylon upper. Handmade in USA. Men's hunting boots in whole & half sizes: 7-13½ Widths: D, E, EE.Gokey Waterproof Dressing's special combination of oils, waxes, and silicones penetrates deep into the leather to protect it from moisture and to give the leather a soft and supple feel. Lightly buff it to restore original shine. For use with finished leathers.

"The Gokey Lightweight Upland boot used to be the best boot on the market. The boot broke in nicely and felt like a million dollars after hunting out in the field all day.
A couple of years ago they changed the sole on this great boot to a heavy lug sole and the boot has a whole new awkward,stiff,heavy,unbalanced feel to them.
When I contacted Orvis I was told that Goodyear discontinued the original sole. What a shame."

Orvis Customer Service immediately contacted this customer and apologized that the soles had to be changed on this Gokey Lightweight Uplander boot. Orvis greatly appreciates customer feedback about our items as we are constantly trying to find ways to improve them. Customer Service also forwarded the customer's comments along to the product developers so that they are aware of the issue.
