"Not to sound too quixotic or too garish, but these are bar none the best shoes I have ever worn, owned, etc...Everyone should experience these, they come in several fashions for men and women. Merrell is the up and coming shoe manufacture in the USA/World . I even bought 2 more pairs, as well as there boots and the non fur lined. They are far more comfortable than they even appear.

"I bought these shoes for my husband for Christmas and he loved them. He had the old version, but our puppy chewed the back of one and after wearing them like that for a few years he was ready for a new pair. They are perfect to throw on to take the dog out, while handsome to wear out on the town. I would definitely reccomend this purchase. The fit was perfect too."

"The Merrell® Encore Chill Slide purchase worked out great for my husband's Christmas gift. We live in a very snowy cold area and he loves being able to slip them on to make a quick trip to the post office or run an errand. "The shoes are very good looking and very comfortable and warm, my only problem is that after 2 weeks of occasional wear the fleece is separating and wearing off of the inside. I hope this is a defect and not a common problem."

"My husband loves this gift I bought him! He sometimes wears them at home for slippers (we have a drafty old house) where their warmth and comfort are greatly appreciated. He often wears them to work (as he is often on his feet all day) and he appreciates their appearance and comfort then. great color coordinates with most everything."
