"I have been a fly fisherman for about 40 years & currently own 19 rods (mostly bamboo). I bought 1 each of the streamline rods in 4/5/6WT because I wanted to have some "Disposable rods" for hardcore fishing situations where I did not want to compromise my favourite rods. These rods are great! Forget any snob idealism, these rods will catch fish just as well as any other & have all done so! I started using the 6WT as a night fishing rod for big Browns. It has performed flawlessly, can throw size 6 weighted flies into the wind & has landed beaucoup "Hook Jawed Brownies"! I am looking forward to trying it as a light Bonefish rod. Smooth mid flex action (Not as soft as a far & fine but with more punch in all weights), great tippet protection. I highly recommend these rods for all levels of angler willing to rise above "Price Tag Snobbery"! I am adding all other line weight rods in this series to my arsenal. Purchase & enjoy!"

"I initially bought one 5wt for all around fishing, then bought four more in the 6wt to use when nieces and nephews come to visit. It is an excellent entry level rod, but also effective with my Battenkill LA III for slapping large streamers around for steelies, smallmouth and large browns. I feel confident letting friends use them, but there is not a worry if I need to buy another."
