"This watch got one star because it's cute. However, had I not already given it to my son, I would be returning it. Let's go through the description point by point. 1. Clear and easy to read face: not. Both hands cover the actual numbers 1-12, and the minute hand also covers the "teaching" numbers. 2. Brightly colored watch: check. But I can get "brightly colored" at the dollar store: it doesn't need to be $40 plus shipping. 3. Concise educational guide: if by concise, they mean "it's a folded pamphlet" okay. But it's in three languages, all at once, and therefore hard to follow. English is not the primary language, and some things are not translated. Good thing I read French! 4. Three teaching clock faces: where? Seriously, where are these things? There is one watch and a pamphlet. What does this mean? I called Orvis and asked about this, and was told that it's the two rows of numbers on the watch face. Um. I suggested that they remove this section from the description.
Finally, my son is an average sized kid, and the watch is way too stiff to wrap around his wrist. He asks for it to be removed after wearing it for under an hour because the buckle pokes him. In all, I am extremely disappointed."

"I got this for my daughter and it is so adorable! It looked cute in the picture but to actually see it, its even better. I'm definitely pleased with the purchase and I'm sure my daughter will love it. Very cute packaging also."
