Great steelhead/salmon rod for beginner and expert,

"The shooting star feels light in hand, yet is powerful enough to cast heavy sinktips and shooting heads. The sensitivity is very impressive for a longer rod, which is great for high-stick nymphing techniques. This rod is great because even a beginner can pick this rod up and make a beautiful cast. I use this rod primarily for Steelhead and salmon on the great lakes tributaries. The developers of this rod should get a pat on the back for creating another amazing arrow for the quiver."

"Bought this rod for my father for the holidays. This is a great two hander. Throws heavy t-14 tips and chunky flies with ease. Very easy to match lines to this one since it casted every line I tried. From Skagit lines to long bellies, this rod ate it up! This is his new winter, summer, and spring rod. Buy one!"
