"I have been fishing this pattern for more than 50 years and cannot find a better tyed fly than Orvis sells. Here's a tip: in high early spring water add a couple of heavy shot a little ways up the tippet and fish it almost straight upstream, high-sticking as it bounces bottom. It works for me,"
