"I received my TLS for Christmas and have finally had the opportunity to put it to test over the past few weeks. The TLS rod provides more than enough power to deliver long and accurate casts and the lighter weight as compared to my previous rod is greatly appreciated. To date I have only landed trout in the 10"-14" range, but look forward to putting it to test on some of the bigger browns and rainbows on the Farmington River. For the money, the TLS is an excellent value."

"Very nice rod. This is my 7th Orvis rod and my second one from the Power Matrix series. This rod is very powerful and yet sensitive to the strike. It has plenty of length for mending and deeper wading. I can't imagine a better bang for the buck than the Power Matrix series. Another great product by Orvis and best of all, made in the U.S.A.."

"This is my third Orvis rod, and I cannot say enough great things about all of them. The TLS Power Matrix 864-2 is noting less than amazing. I wanted a longer 4 weight that would give me the ability to make delicate casts and throw a long line if needed. The power matrix is an awesome rod, very powerful and responsive. Dries, nymphs, weighted streamers, this rod does it all."
