"Wow, do I love this rod!!! It literally feels like a genentic extension of my arm, and the casting action is so natural that I don't need to even think about it ... none of my other fly rods have this "feel". The high-level tip-flex (9.5) allows for a short efforltess casting stroke, and especially facilitates accurate side-arm casts to get under overhanging branches with ease. Whatever I need to do with the line, by way of mending, roll-casting, changing direction, etc. ... this rod makes the process natural, effortless and accurate. If you prefer to cast with the "book-under-your-arm" stroke, this rod's a beauty at an attractive price."
