Sili Skin Caddis

Use this as a dropper on a mature caddis, fish it across and down and when the drift is over, lift the rod, skitter the adult and in doing so, pull this caddis larva up as if it's pupa swimming to the surface. "During the spring, the steelhead will dig up the gravel and dislodge a plethura of food. The sili skin caddis gets in the dark water every time. It doesn't stay there long...there is usually a steelhead or a very hungry trout connected to it."

"This fly is an amazing imitation of a caddis larva . It fishes well dead drift under an indicator or in a czeck nymph rig. A must have on southern tailwaters."
