"Being a size "Medium" I ordered a medium. I had to return it and get a "Small" and it fits like a glove. No trouble for exchange either. This jacket is so so beautiful. I really love the jacket and the hat is gorgeous too. No regrets at all."

Nice but a few problems,

"I purchased the off white version and like the quality and style. It does wash very well. However I lost a button on the first wear and no spares were provided of these relatively unique toggle buttons. For such a quality jacket, the provision of spare buttons should have been a given. (I hope somebody at Orvis reads these reviews!) On the subject of fit, I actually thought mine was a snug fit and I ordered my usual size. The sleeves are finished in a complex double cuff that defies easy shortening. I'm rolling mine up until I find another solution. My guess is the jacket will fit a slim and relatively tall person well. The slightly more filled out may have to size up. Of course, I tend to like clothing that allows comfortable movement and doesn't tug anywhere which is not exacly fashionable these days."

Terrific Jacket,

"I bought this jacket on the strength of its reviews. I am delighted with the way this garment looks and fits. I was uncertain about size, but ordered the smaller of my choices and found it to be perfect. I was wearing a light sweatshirt the day it arrived and it still fit fine. The sleeves are not too long and the toggle closures are nicely done. The finish on the jacket is good. I have yet to wash it, but it certainly looks as if it will hold up to many washings."

Great Jacket,

"Just received this jacket, great quality, looks very stylish. I have tried on many light weight coats and did not like them. I have been looking for a couple of years! This one is a keeper. I ordered the blue. Orvis sizes run generous, almost could have ordered a size smaller than usual, but this way I can wear a jacket underneath. Might get another one later in white in a size smaller."

I love this jacket!,

"I bought this jacket for an upcoming Mediterranean cruise and it is perfect--the right weight and just the right style for cruising. it is difficult to find a stylish jacket that is also practical--and believe me, I have looked. I bought the navy so it would stay clean-looking for the duraton, and the contrasting off-white collar and trim really sets it off--as well as the cute toggle closures. Fits well, just large enough to wear over street clothes without being baggy--I recommend it highly!"
