Not what I had hoped, February 24, 2010

"When the fly dryer arrived, I was disappointed to find out that there was no on/off switch. Turning the dryer off was to be done by removing the battery pack, which was not really all that easy to do.

On closer inspection, I thought it was not quite built to what I think of Orvis standards. It looked as if it might easily break. It did.

Orvis places customer satisfaction very high. I sent the dryer back and they refunded my money. I have been an happy Orvis customer for many years and will continue to be so."

"I bought this turner a few years ago and it has held up very well. The back battery compartment unsnaps to make storage easier and it has great battery life. The high density foam also holds up very well even when repetively using 1/0 and 2/0 hooks. The foam turner head also slides off which is nice when you take all your flies off at the end of a tying session. Another great product from Orvis!"
