"I have to admit I was a little skeptical purchasing a cotton raincoat. I've always worn synthetic materials in the past.

After my first rainstorm in this coat I became a believer in the amphibious cotton. I was completely dry. However, the hood on this coat could be better. The hood isn't very roomy and could use some additional fabric to overhand your face. That said, this jacket isn't positioned as a mountaineering coat.

The upper chest pockets are especially useful for holding valuables such as your wallet. The lower bellow pockets (which have zippers in addition to the flaps) also have hand pockets just behind them.

Great overall coat. Highly breathable. Definitely keeps the rain off. Always get complements on the autumn color."
