Labor Day weekend with my son.Great fishing with an inshore slam. Capt. Dave has a subtle, but on point, way to critique and improve your casting stroke. He is generous with local knowledge. You catch fish and improve your skills with Dave. Beyond that, he is a true gentleman.
Dave took our my father and me and we were able to catch a GA inshore slam on the fly (Flounder, Redfish, and Trout). Dave was very knowledgeable about the local area and was how to fish it. I would highly recommend fishing with Dave whether you are just visiting or even a resident of the area.
My husband and I went out with Capt Dave on a flood tide in August. This was only our second fly fishing trip and it was a spectacular night on the water. Capt Dave spent the first part of our trip with hands on instruction and tips while waiting on the tide to be right. Saw many fish, had great shots at them. Capt Dave’s communication, boat, equipment, and company were fantastic from start to finish. Left with good memories and techniques to practice. Would absolutey book again.
Been fly fishing for a while, but not much experience in the salt or with sight fishing for redfish. Captain Dave took care of that by helping me understand what it takes to be successful on my first time out - and taking me straight to the fish. Landed a 32” Redfish!!
