Sight fishing for Redfish in the Golden Isles of Georgia is a challenging task. Captain David Edens is a true enthusiast of the sport. He knows where and when to find them, spot them, and target them. He will then deftly position his skiff to let you get your best shot. I recently had an absolutely wonderful fall flood tide trip with Captain David. He gently coached my casting until I got the fly in front of the feeding fish, hooked him, and held on for the ride! A great guide and a great person, Captain David consistently delivers a great experience on the water.
I really enjoyed my day with Captain David Edens and my introduction to Redfish. He's an excellent host and guide as well as instructor. As we discovered, my casting technique for this kind of fishing needed a serious tune-up which he provided. I will look forward to trying this again soon.

I highly recommend fishing with Captain David Edens. We fished two days for both redfish & tarpon. Saw lots of fish and had plenty of opportunities to connect. Cap knows the area well and is very accommodating to meet his client’s fishing objectives. Thanks again for taking me fishing. Bryan Sayers
Spent a couple days with Captain Dave, in his waters searching for reds. Granted it wasn’t the optimal time of year with weather conditions as they are. But to no fault of captain Dave, we struck out. He pressed us into some tight water determined to get us on some happy fish. Did get to fire out a few and pick up quite a few great pointers for firing in salt water marshes from an awesome Cast master that Capt. Dave is. I definitely recommend him to others I want to try their hand in some Georgia waters.
