This is my 3rd year visiting the lodge and because of Justin, Rayna and the guides, this will be at the very least a yearly event. The staff at TLAPC is the best!! They run a very efficient lodge and you always feel welcomed and part of the family. The fishing guides Jaason, Rollie, Cole and Josh are fantastic. We didn't have great weather and they still just put us on the fish. We caught a ton of huge fish! Great people and a wonderful experience. This year I get the pleasure of going to the Lodge twice. Once with "the boys" and in June I am taking my 17 year old son, to start the tradition with him. I just left and can't wait to get back.

Incredible. Beginning to end!

We flew into Jackson Hole and the shuttle was waiting for us, even helped us with our bags. We were staying and fishing Idaho and Wyoming for two weeks, so I brought several different rods and gear. Instead of carrying them and risking the tsa abuse, I opted to ship some of my rods there so they would be waiting for me. I talked to Rayna and she said that would be fine, she even called me to let me know they arrived safe and sound. Upon arrival I was absolutely blown away by the beauty of the cabins and the facilities. We were greeted with a beer and a tour of the incredible grounds by Justin, then given a quick briefing on when dinner was served and a couple of odds and ends. We fished right behind the cabins the first day and wore the fish out (remember, this is RIGHT BEHIND OUR CABIN) we got done fishing and it was time for dinner. I was expecting typical fish/hunt camp fare but oh no. We were treated to duck and grilled tuna. I am a life long duck hunter from the Mississippi delta and have never had duck that was this good. The next day we woke up around 7 and hopped in the boat with our guide, Dan. This man has been rowing the south fork for 35 years and was not only a wealth of knowledge, but an absolute blast to spend the day with. I'm not sure whether it was the hopper slurping cutty's, the moose having a drink of water on the side of the river, or the absolutely hilarious stories Dan told us, but it made for a day that I will never forget. Huge thanks to the incredible hard working staff of The Lodge at Palisades Creek for an amazing trip. We WILL be back in 2017!

Great first time experience at the lodge

The lodge was great. Was part of a group in which several had never fly-fished before. Our guide, Tanner, made us comfortable and provided great coaching on the river. Even though the weather was poor - rainy and cold, we still had a great time on the river. The service at the lodge is fantastic. Management made us feel like we'd all been coming there for many years. Food was great. As a first timer, this is definitely the way to experience the sport. Top notch!
