This is my 3rd year visiting the lodge and because of Justin, Rayna and the guides, this will be at the very least a yearly event. The staff at TLAPC is the best!! They run a very efficient lodge and you always feel welcomed and part of the family. The fishing guides Jaason, Rollie, Cole and Josh are fantastic. We didn't have great weather and they still just put us on the fish. We caught a ton of huge fish! Great people and a wonderful experience. This year I get the pleasure of going to the Lodge twice. Once with "the boys" and in June I am taking my 17 year old son, to start the tradition with him. I just left and can't wait to get back.
A fantastic experience

My son (23) & I met friends at TPLAC this past week and had a fantastic time. Unlike many of the other guests neither my son nor I are avid fly fishermen but truly enjoy the outdoors. I had been one other time (June 2012) but had not touched a fly reel since.
When we arrived Shayde & Sage greeted us at the shop when we arrived. Later Sage gave my son & I a crash / refresher course in casting down on the pond.
Justin met us at the main lodge and immediately made us feel at home - as he did throughout the trip. The entire TLAPC team was amazing and everything was truly first class. They made us feel like we'd been coming for years. Chef Bob prepared delicious meals throughout.
On the water, our guide George was patient and helpful. While we may not have caught as many fish as our friends, that was 100% due to our inexperience. George worked his butt off and consistently put us in position to catch fish (which is all you can ask). You are consistently surrounded by beauty: the river, the canyons, waterfalls, Bald Eagles, Moose and oh yeah - great fish. Truly amazing.
We had some late nights at the Liar's Den (a *few* cocktails & cigars) and talked about the fish we did and didn't catch.
At the end we booked time for next year & are already looking forward to it.

Another Phenomenal Stay At The Lodge

Once again another phenomenal trip to The Lodge this past week. The time simply rocked by and we just wanted to book more days and fish more. The fishing was RED HOT and as always the staff is TOP NOTCH. Have been going to the Lodge almost every year now for 12 years and we consider the staff our family in Idaho. Justin, Shayde, Tim, Chef Bob, Sun and the rest of the staff are just great. Since this is an Orvis Fishing Review let's talk fish and the guides. As mentioned above, the fishing was RED HOT (lots of Browns, Cutty's and Rainbows) but best of all is the guides. Tanner, Sage, George, Jaason and Josh put YOU on the sweet spots every time. Simply the best guides in the business.
Thank you again TLAPC Staff for an incredible trip. And yes, next year is already booked.
Simply the Best

I recently took a strategic customer to The Lodge at Palisades Creek. This is an annual excursion for us. We were met with the warm hospitality that this amazing place is known for. We fished with great success for 3 days during the stone fly hatch as our expert guides shepherded us with excellence through the various sections of the Snake River.
I simply love this place. We dined well, had a great time with other guests, fished to our hearts content and made memories that will last a lifetime. The Lodge at Palisades Creek will forever be my "go to" place for fly fishing this amazing river.
