snappy and functional, January 21, 2010
By: Perazzi from Providence, RI

"What a nice coat ! I have a few Rascher items, but this one is my favorite. A great weight for temps down to 20 degrees; any colder, throw on a sweater under it.

Well made, with lots of pockets, I wore it last evening shooting 5-stand. The design did not interfere with my gun mount and the arms did not ride up to my elbows. The individual pockets are not big enough for a box of 12 gauge ammo, you have to split it up between the two.

I am 6 ft tall, 205 lbs and wear a 46 dress jacket. This coat fits just right."

Terrible design, January 11, 2010
By: Fasttrack from Long Island, NY

"Received the coat today, and very disappointed. I ordered a large because I am a size 44. The sleeves are sized for a person who has 39" arms. Mine are 34". You have straps on each sleeve to hold it down, but with so much material it looks like you have puffy arms. Horrible look for a coat of this cost. Secondly, the zipper is on the wrong side. The pull should be on the right for a mans coat, not the left. I would not recommend this coat to anyone."

A very nice coat, October 16, 2009
By: Boilermaker

"This coat is well made and has kept me warm and dry in miserable weather. It has a practical design, cut full for ease of movement and plenty of pockets for storage. The loden material is of very good quality and the wool/cashmere lining is super soft. My only complaint is that the zipper and snap button closures could be of a more heavy duty construction, but they are more than adequate. I would recommend this coat to anyone living in a cold climate for much of the year."

Quality Coat !, February 14, 2008
By: Vince

"From one picky customer!
Rugged & Handsome in one .
The finest wool parker I have seen ,a bit pricy but worth every penney.
You can see immediately the quality and how well made this coat is by Rascher in Poland.
I live in San Diego, but we are 1 1/2 hous from the Snow in the Mountains . I can wear this coat in both climates with a wool sweater underneath when it gets cold.
Very good choice for Orvis to carry this Brand!"

Great Coat, November 15, 2007
By: JimG from Hudson, NH

"I just recieved the Loden Wool Shooting Coat and was totally impressed by features, quality, and fit. It is supple for ease of movement with pockets everywhere for cell phone, shells and other things. I now plan to use it as a winter coat. There is a form fitting draw string that can tighten up the fit. I can loosen the string to add an vest or sport jacket underneth on the very cold days. I am 5'11'' and 190 lbs. The Large fits perfect!"
