"This is extremely comfortable, non-binding and very flattering. Dress it up with dress pants or down with jeans. I think the length is perfect and the weight is warm and cozy. The fit is so non-binding that I can wear it layered for the coldest days. Love it so much I just purchased two more... want to be certain I always have a clean one in the ready."

"I LOVE this sweatshirt.

I am 5'4 and the length is perfect for me. It is warm, but yet cool because the bottom is wide (and yes the air does climb up). It is great for layering or wearing on its own. It is a boxy cut but the collar makes it feminine. I have the pearl and plan to order another color."

"Although I'm enjoying the two colors of this sweatshirt that I purchased, I think buyers should be aware of the unique fit. The length of the shirts is way too short for my comfort...when I'm looking for sweatshirts, it means that I'm looking for warmth. These are definitely 'drafty' from the short length. That said, the sleeves are plenty long (I have to roll up a cuff, and I have long arms)."

"I bought this sweatshirt last year and have fully enjoyed wearing it often on chilly days. The shawl collar is cozy and looks so much nicer than a normal sweatshirt collar. The fit is perfect - it's actually made for a female body! Unlike other reviewers, I have not found the length to be too short. In fact, I think it fits & looks so much better than most typical sweatshirts - it does not have that bothersome added length and fabric to deal with around my hips! My husband has even commented that it looks good on me - and that I should buy it in other colors!"

"actually saw this advertised last year but missed it... bought them this summer in late july for this winter... shawl collar is comfortable without being binding - comfortable fit in shoulders -waist and hips areas. Love the kanga-pocket for hands or cell phone. Straight sleeves, no binding ribbed wrist cuffs, so you can fold up sleeve if you like. Appears nicely made, well stitched and sewn. It is a medium weight cotton/poly sweat so not too bulky. Colors are nice and can work with various other casual clothes. Would like to see this also offered in a 100% cotton and /or a heavier weight cotton.... Plan to get alot of wear from this....."

"This is a wonderful alternative to the standard crew neck sweatshirts. It is a little on the short side in the body - actually 23.5 inches - not the 24 inches described. I also like the straight bottom styling. Sleeve length is plenty long however. I like that Orvis does offer alternative styles. Being from Canada I wear a lot of sweatshirts a good part of the year and am always looking for different styles."

"I love a sweatshirt for the transition of summer to fall. I also want to look feminine and casual. The Shawl-collar Kanga sweatshirt gives me it all! I love the pockets for keys, busfare, and keeping my hands warm from a quick chill. The colors are a lovely change from the summer - just like the leaf colors."

"This sweatshirt is wonderful, only there isn't much of it.
It is so short at 24" that the wind blows right up and there isn't anything to hold it down at the bottom, like elastic or sweater cuff. And forget about bending over!

Nice shirt if you want to layer it over a long T-shirt, but not a good choice to stay warm!"
