Vintage Ski Coat Rack

Inspired by vintage children's skis used in 1930s and '40s, this handcrafted coat hook is a great way to add hanging space in a children's room, mudroom, or entryway. This nostalgic home accessory features four iron hooks that have been antiqued to complement the piece. Hangs horizontally; hanging hardware included. Wooden wall coat racks in dark brown or natural. "I really wanted to like these coat racks. I bought two- one to use as a towel rack by the hot tub, another as a coat rack. I purchased the "natural" color, & upon arrival, it def. didn't look as "antique" or rustic as pictured. The natural color actually is heavily-grained oak- not at all "reclaimed" or vintage patina-looking. Just kind of cheap. Maybe I should have chosen the darker color?
Regardless, got it on sale & not worth the hassle of shipping back. Will serve it's function fine and I am considering trying to apply some sort of glaze and antique the rack myself to achieve the rich, vintage look pictured. Not my best Orvis purchase..."

Orvis Customer Service contacted this customer and apologized for the difference in the coloration and offered the customer a full refund or exchange. We have found that the coloration differs due to natural variations in wood grain. The Orvis 100% satisfaction guarantee is the strongest in the business.
