"I thought I bought this shirt to wear under a sweater or heavy shirt. But I like it so much I usually wear it without any shirt or sweater covering it. It looks great and has a soft smooth feel. The turtle neck never rubs or binds on your skin. I like it . It should come in other colors so I can buy another one."

"As someone who has purchased many items from Orvis, I can honestly say this is one of their finest and definitely the best of their light heavyweight collection. The neck is non binding and allows for a very comfortable feel while wearing it. I can only hope it is not discontinued and that more colors are added in the future."

"this could be a great turtleneck except the neck is sized for someone with a 20" neck. I bought 2 mediums in this style. I have a 15.5" neck. On me the collar has at least 2" of extra size so its very sloppy around the neck. Doesn't hug the neck like a turtleneck should. Too bad because this could be a great shirt!"

Orvis contacted this customer regarding the sizing of these turtlenecks. While our clothing is sized generously to accommodate an active country lifestyle, we will review this item for neck sizing issues. We did offer this customer a refund or exchange.
