"Great Product, excellent Workmanship, sturdy construction. Only other similar product I liked was more than three times the price. As others have commented, fits a little large. True, but not a problem in my case. Color is a little lighter than photo, but looks excellent. I use it mainly for shooting skeet/clays. Pockets are great and hold comfortably a box of shells.
Find your shipping rates/premium cost to Canada a little heavy thus 1 mark off in the value department.
Thinking of also ordering your International Clays Vest.

"My wife purchased this vest for my birthday (she knew that I had been lusting after it). Unfortunately, she did not read the reviews, so she was unaware that its sizes run large. It arrived promptly, and when my birthday rolled around, I was every bit as impressed as I had anticipated. It is clearly a beautifully crafted, well-made piece of outerwear. That said, it didn't fit, so my wife returned it and contacted customer service. She was delighted when Orvis immediately sent out a replacement without even waiting to receive the "return." "Beautiful leather, soft as anything, but several things keep it from being a good practical piece. First, I need an inside pocket of some kind, this has none. Very cool it has handwarmer pockets but they are just slightly to high, and they are to shallow to keep much in.
HOWEVER, both the leather and the construction are amazing. I am very impressed by the quality of the piece. I simply found it unusable for my needs."

"This vest is exactly what it is touted. It could be a Western look, but it is not good for rugged work. The leater is too soft, Yet,it will age beautifully as used. One great feature is it closes with a zipper or you may use the snaps. The latter gives you additional space so you can layer. The 2 front pockets are ok, but do not allow you to put your hands into them as they are too high. This vest is a city slicker vest, which makes one look cool, but not for leading a wagon trail. I really love it."

"Unfortunately, I had to return the vest because it did not fit. Based on its cut, I decided that I probably could never justify wearing it with its high shoulder cut. It looked like a jacket with the sleeves ripped out - not a traditional cut for a vest. The color was much darker than the catalog picture showed. The corduroy collar was totally a turn-off. One does not expect cheap corduroy on a nice vest."

"The vest itself is beautiful, well-stitched, soft leather and definitely a worthwhile investment. However, I have two issues with my experience. #1 - the vest is not the color that appears on the website. Maybe it's with the resolution of my two monitors, but I was expecting a darker vest. It's cognac, alright! Also, the vest runs a little big, so my husband who is usually an XL had to exchange it for a Large. We returned the vest twice, because we found a previous customer's shopping list, as well as a previous customer's return label. Not happy about having purchased a used vest without knowing. I gave it a "3" overall because of the purchasing process, not because of the quality of the vest."

"I've worn this vest constantly around our ranch and give it top marks for comfort and appearance. If it had been offered in cowhide rather than lambskin I'd probably have chosen that for resistance to abrasion and barbed wire cuts, but I'm very happy with the vest as it is."

"I served for 5 years (1957 to 63) on bomber and fighter squadrons in the Royal Air Force as a Radio Fitter. We wore these weskits out on the flight line in all weathers. They were worn over battledress and often over denim overalls too. The generous cut is important. The originals I remember had no pockets or zippers; they had large buttons instead. I wear my new one over a heavy shirt and a top quality fleece jacket and it is perfect. Driving is more comfortable than wearing a full bomber jacket as is working on vintage bikes in the workshop."

"Excellent quality jacket and good value. I'm a little on the overweight size and this jacket fits perfectly. My jacket is large and would suggest that anyone of a slim build may consider a smaller size although one can wear more garments underneath this should the weather dictate."

"This vest is not for hearty or even semi-hearty use. Nice by the bar at the lodge perhaps, but no good out in the real world. The leather is too soft, and unfinished. Thus, it tears easily and absorbes everything with which it comes into contact (everything, including rain, is a stain risk). I cannot get the collar to lay down right (curls at corners). Nice design, but overall crummy material for the price. Once you discover this product's latent weaknesses, it is too late to return it."

"This vest is my favorite outerwear. It is very well done with "form-follows-function" design coupled with great craftsmanship in quality material. It is completely appropriate in the wilderness or in any urban setting. I really like the contrast between the butter-soft feel of the lambskin and the durable, rugged design. I recommend considering the size you select carefully, with this item. It runs a little big. I normally wear a "large" in everything, but this vest in "Medium" is a perfect fit for me."

"My wife gave me this vest for Christmas and it has never been far from my sight. I had to see summer coming as I will have to put it away until fall. I am a tall man (6'5") so the extra length really helps it fit well and not ride up. The leather looks and feels great. You can dress it up or dress it down. Helps you cut down on your travel wardrobe. This is a gift that keeps on giving. Will last a lifetime."

"This vest is indeed the best materials possible. All around top quality. A rich deep color. Beautiful. It does fit very loosely and that was the only issue for me. "The lambskin munitions vest is the highest quality leather vest that I've seen to date. The slightly oversize fit is an excellent feature in a vest that may be worn with a variety of under layers. The vest was heavier than I anticipated and will probably be regulated to colder weather. Women seem to love it!!!"
