Midflex fly rod,

"This rod has an obvious feeling of being feather- weight especially when holding it. for hours at a time. Its flexibility is cetainly a plesure when casting - and even moreso during the handling and reeling in of a catch. I would say it 'does the job' very well as far as helping make fly fishing a fun and enjoyable fresh-air experience."

The 4-piece rod I have allways wanted.,

"I have used an orvis 2-piece 5 wt rod for several years so 5 wt has become my standard when fishing in both of my favorite locations: the boulder-ladened Amicoloa River in N. GA and the much smoother White River in N, AR. Because I travel quite a bit, the long tube of a 2-piece is a little inconvenient, I recently purchased a new midflex Stremline 865-4. It is superb. It is a perfect fit for me. I could have go with a much more expensive rod, but not one that would have been more comfortable in my hands. The midflex seems to give me more power and control than I have had with other rods. I have only been able to use it on lakes and ponds here in Louisiana but I am really looking forward to an upcoming trip to N. Arkansas to give it a real test ."
