"these are the best sweatshirts i've ever owned. they look nice enough to wear to work and the comfort is second to none. the sale price is very reasonable because, if you take care of the garment, it will last years....personally, i only wash and then hang dry anything cotton...i've had misfortune in the past with dryers and i like a loose fit....i don't get a chance to buy orvis too often, but when i see a bargain, i'll make an adjustment to my budget and methodically and with a little luck, get the items as i can afford to do so....i own 5 of these sweatshirts and there is one more that i'm going to buy at a future time....this way i'll have the full color compliment for any occasion. i would highly recommend this product."

World's Finest Sweater,

"This sweater is simply phenomenal. I now have six of them, and I plan to buy more. The cotton is super-soft, but the fabric and construction are substantial and quite durable. I did go a size up; these sweaters do shrink some if you dry them in a dryer. I have not found a sweater with these qualities anywhere else."

"My husband will not own any sweatshirt other than this one. He's super-picky. I have now bought him five of the shirts and he treasures them more than any other garments he owns. I was just glad to find Orvis and 100% cotton clothing! The all cotton fabric was the clincher. These sweatshirts are excellent in every way and I will be a long time Orvis customer! "I purchased this sweatshirt for my husband after reading how it is a "best-seller".
After seeing this in person, it is easy to see why it is a favorite! The seams are neatly stitched and lay down smoothly--more like a sweater than a bulky sweatshirt.
Also--it's no exaggeration to say that this truly a super-soft cotton.
I like the fit a lot--it is casual but neat. I appreciate the fact that the cut is roomy enough to be comfortable--but tailored enough to look nice. It gives a "weekend-casual" instead of a "weekend-sloppy" look."

"I have several of these sweaters in different colors. The fabric is extemely soft, yet substantial. My only complaint is that the tag area in the collar rides up and is difficult to get to lay flat."
