"I thought the fabric pull tabs for zippers was not consistent with the overall quality of the jacket. I added leather pulls to match the other leather trim which I think adds to the look."

Great Jacket, March 3, 2010
By: NYWelshman from New York, NY

"When I first saw this jacket on the website I thought it would suit my father as a present so I bought it in his size. When it arrived I discovered just how great a jacket this actually is. The leather trim and the availablity of the many pockets help to make this garment stand out from the rest. As I'm a bit slimmer than my "old man" (Sorry Dad but it's true) I've now ordered it in my own size... Looking forward to it arriving soon..."

Almost great, February 18, 2010
By: Classified

"I looked at this jacket quite a while prior to purchasing it, mainly due to the high cost. As it turns out, it is a very nice jacket. It's double thickness twill makes it a bit heavier than it looks but that also makes it quite warm.
Plenty of handy interior pockets. The only negative about this jacket is that the dye on the leather trim does not go deep enough into the leather. On the edges of the trim, the coloring can easily be scraped off and some of it was already coming off when it was new. The leather underneath is about the same color as the jacket.
I feel the quality control in this area is a bit lacking, however I like the jacket well enough to keep it."

Don't Wait, January 7, 2010
By: jambo

"I've wanted this jacket for a couple of years. Price is a bit steep so I kept waiting. Finally broke down, and now kick myself for waiting so long. Warm, comfortable and functional; worth every penny. Don't let the price keep you from owning this great jacket."

For cool days, November 28, 2009
By: SFbay

"Great detailing and fit. Deluxe assortment of pockets. I returned it only because it was the same weight as my lined leather bomber, while I was looking for something lighter. With a canvas shell and lining, I would classify this as somewhat heavier than a windbreaker."

Great Jacket, September 10, 2009
By: Franz from Fort Collins, Colorado

"I recently purchased this jacket and found it to be of good quality and very warm for 95% of Colorado's cool fall, winter, and early spring days. I would like to mentioned that the sizing chart reccomended that I buy an X-Large. I ended up with a Large and it is plenty big. I think Large is the new XL. So go buy the coat you will love it...."

Superb Quality, May 28, 2009
By: mlednor from Worthing, Sussex, UK

"The pictures of this jacket do not do it justice, the quality and heft of this jacket is totally unexpected. I have yet to find something that will not fit in one of the pockets, even my SatNav slots easily into one of the front pockets. The price is high, but I got mine in the Sale and would, in hindsight, have paid the full price now I have seen and worn it. I'm seriously considering purchasing another in case something happens to this one!"

Simply the best, May 4, 2009
By: Mark101 from Spalding UK

"I bought the Olive coloured version of this jacket in the sale, which was a real bargain. I'm very impressed with the quality and style of this jacket. Be under no illusion about the quality of this garment, it's well stitched and quite heavy and certainly will last a number of years due to the quality of the fabric. Although advertised as a three season jacket, with just a shirt I cand see it being used on coll summer nights."

Worth it!, January 29, 2009
By: Will58

"this jacket's not cheap, but neither is it in any way cheap-looking nor is its worksmanship other than top-notch. a happy thing: this jacket's obvious quality meets even my wife's keen eye and critical standards. (but i do have to say that the other color i was considering picking at the time just went on sale! alas.)"

Functional and Stylish, April 15, 2008

"The pocket along the zipper on the left chest is ideal for a cell phone. Interior pocket will hold my checkbook and the snap keeps it secure. The leather trim accents the jacket's great looks."

Great Jacket, February 12, 2008
By: wideeyedandlegless

"This is probably the best piece of clothing I have bought in a very long time. Exceptionally comfortable, fits really well, great finish and love the leather trim. All the pockets inside are a real bonus and it's a genuine 3/4 season garment. It's expensive but you will not be dissapointed."
