Set this wrought iron pet gate up and you can forget about your dog getting into dangerous areas, and—unless your dog is handy with a hacksaw—you can also forget about him tearing it apart. Built from 18-gauge wrought-iron tubing, it features innovative connectors that allow each panel to swivel almost 360 degrees. Once set up, the knobs can be tightened to keep this freestanding pet gate in place. Welded construction makes it super strong, while a gently curving arch and clean design complement any home décor. Available in two-panel configurations, but you can easily expand its versatility by adding as many additional pairs of panels as you need (each two-panel section covers a 3' span). Distance between spindles is 2 3/8".

"I got the tall one of these. I board labs and goldens in my home and it's a godsend. Really stands up to them and keeps them out of a room, but I found that the connects loosen and make the two sections a little wobbly if it isn't set up and adjusted just so. If there was on post instead of two between the two gates, and they were hinged to each other, it would be far sturdier."

"These are perfect! I bought a few. Light easy and portable. When invited to stay at a friends I can bring them along to keep my dogs contained in an area. They look perfect! If I HAD to find 1 negative I would say they are light. NOT flimsy at all... but if I had a big bargey dog, they may not stand the barging! Otherwise they are best things I have purchased to date! "My husband and I just moved into a new house and needed a way to keep our 4 dogs from running up and down the hardwood stairs. Not only would their nails scratch the wood, but it is extremely dangerous for them because the wood is very slippery. My decorator has had trouble adjusting to designing around 4 dogs and 2 cats, so I knew finding the proper dog gate was going to be tough. But, leave it to Orvis to have the perfect solution! "This is the first time I've ever written a review about a product. I just received my 2-panel medium BEAUTIFUL wrought iron pet gate and I just have to tell anyone who is reading this that first of all this gate is 100% functional and secondly it is truly a beautiful addition to our stairway. We have a large golden and a smaller golden mix that we just want to keep from going upstairs when we are not home. I have gone through 4 different types of gates and each one was a pain when I wanted to go upstairs to the office. The most recent one was extremely heavy. When I read that this gate was only 15 lbs. I had to try it. I am now going to order 2 more - not to add to the current one, but to have when I have had to previously close doors when others have brought their overly active 4-legged children over to our house! This is a purchase you will never regret!!"

"I ordered the small b/c I have a 10 lb Havanese. I haven't used it yet but love the look and the quality. Its lighter than I thought. Its more of a gray and I thought it would be really dark and its not as heavy and I would like. It looks great with my old world decor b/c it matches the wrought iron light fixtures and earthy colors in my furniture. If it works as well as I hope, I am going to order 2 more to put together for a bigger opening from the living room to the foyer!"

"This gate is the perfect solution to keeping a dog in or out of a room. It is stylish, portable and useful. I use it at night to keep my Cocker puppy in my bedroom and during the day to keep my puppy out of the guest room where I have had to stash my collection of Gund teddy bears that she took a fancy to!!! She likes to get up on the guest bed to choose a bear she can run through the condo with, and that is not good! So I found the perfect solution in this portable gate. Now I am happy, the bears are happy and my puppy does not seem to mind that she can see them but not get to them!!!"

"I bought this gate which is lovely quality, to keep my three dogs from going up the stairs. My jack russell cross worked out how to paw it open in about five minutes. It could do with two fixings as he either pushes past it or pulls it towards him with one paw (hes a smart cookie). its tall enough not to jump over though and is well made and attractive."

"I purchased two of the large gates and am very satisfied with both the appearance and the quality. They were very easy to put together. I needed to hook 3 sections together to block off my living room. I was hoping the fourth could block off my dining room, but one section can not stand alone. I wisht they would make feet so that one section could stand alone. That would get the fifth star from me."
