"I USE THIS GARMENT TO DEER HUNT FROM A BLIND IN TEXAS. LONG DAYS SITTING AND WAITING ARE IN ORDER WHEN YOU HUNT LIKE THIS. I LIKE TO WEAR CLOTHING I CAN LAYER DUE TO TEMPERATURE CHANGES DURING LONG DAYS. THIS GARMENT AND ALL MONTANA MORNING GARMENTS WORK WELL FOR THIS TYPE OF HUNTING. THEY ARE ALL SOFT,WARM, AND STYLISH. THANKS ORVIS!"

Underwhelmed, December 28, 2008

"I recieved this sweatshirt as a Christmas gift, after having put it on my "list." I was very disappointed.
The dying on the yarns was rather poorly executed, and the fabric was thin, much thinner than I expected. The patches resembled those that my mother ironed onto my jeans' knees as a child, thin and with seemingly no function other than cosmetic, and they aren't too pleasing in that way either. I'm 6'2" and 220lbs, the shirt was an XL, the sleeves were short, especially considering that this is a shooting shirt and that in the act of shooting your arms are in use, as soons as I brought my arms up from my sides the sleeves rode up past my wrists. The waistband, however, rode down past my upper thigh--very strange fitting. Needless to say it is going back.

Overall I would not recommend this garment for the reasons stated above, unlike most Orvis products I won this garment is very disappointing."
