Soft, refined cashmere lends smart looks and warmth to a classic. Perhaps the one hat that can be considered “America's hat.” Pro ballplayers didn't always wear this style cap, however. In the 1800s, players wore boating, jockey, and even bicycling caps. In 1860, the Brooklyn Excelsiors first donned what would be the forerunner of today's baseball hat. In light brown, navy, forest. "My cashmere ball cap may be the warmest, most comfortable hat I have. I couldn't be happier with it, and the design ensures a great fit. There is no letter "O" on the front or "Orvis" on the back, although I wouldn't have minded either. Great product."

"Just received the cashmere baseball cap in green. The cap is made from a plush cashmere and the visor is perfectly curved. My cap does not have a letter "O" on it as indicated by the person contributing the 1st review on this item. The hat is without any exterior markings and has the Orvis label on the inside band. Looking forward to wearing the green up in Vermont over the holidays."

"From the photos this product appears to be a plain
cashmere baseball cap, but when you actually see
it it has a big a big 'O' in front and has the Orvis logo on the back. This should have been shown in the photos of the product."
