"Whether you tying tarpon patterns such as toads, destroyers, merkins, or EP patterns such as the Peanut Bunker/Streamers, this hook is the single best choice. With a gap bend much more open you will reduce the amount of short strikes and missed fish. Plus a complement to hookups, is how light in weight these hooks really are. Casting into a head-on wind situation is lesser the battle now. I really enjoy tying my flies using this style of hook and I hope you will too!

"I love this hook! For its size it is exceptionally light, and very very strong. I fly fish for Pike and have found these hooks ideal for dressing EP style flies. I tend to use the 4/0 size and its shape is ideal for this range of flies.
Being tin plated they do not rust when put away wet, a bonus for me, and they are extremely sharp. The only thing I have to to is pinch the barb down.
Great hook for Pike flies."
