"The watch looks great and has great features, but it is not a watch for a person who will use it a lot. The compass/thermometer busted out and the glass surface is so scratched that the time is some times hard to read. Also the hour/minute/second hands do not work. but this is all because it has been used an awful lot and got quite a bit of wear. It is a great watch for those who do not use it a lot."

Worst purchase ever from Orvis,
December 20, 2008

"Very nice looking watch and I have had lots of compliments on it. DO NOT depend on the compass. North points which ever way the belt loop end points. The temperature reads about 20 degrees higher than than actual. The watch gains five minutes every 7 or 8 days. I wished that I had spent my $98. plus tax and shipping on more useful fly fishing products."

My favorite watch,
May 30, 2008
By:

"I have owned this watch for 5 years now, and I love it! Actually, this is my second watch since I completely wore out the first one...I'm rough on stuff. I have always hated having a watch on my wrist, so this watch is perfect for me. Yes, I have used the compass, and even the thermometer, but the flashlight really comes in handy when you're looking for the lock in the dark, looking at a map, or just walking around the house in the middle of the night. I never knew I would use such a thing until I had it.
I have worn it every day: camping, on the job, even to formal parties (where it usually gets a lot more attention than my Rado...)
The watch comes with a warrantee, but I have abused mine so severely that I would be embarrassed turning mine in.
I just bought a new one."

A Gift from my Wife that I Like,
October 14, 2007

"I received this watch last Christmas, I put it on my vest in a handy spot, and it goes with me to the river every time I go out. I use it as an alarm and a correct time backup to my wrist watch so I do not get caught by dam generation on my tailwater. I use the hook sharpener, and the luminescent dial is helpful for the evening hatch. I hope I do not ever need the compass, but it's there if I do. I am a gadget type of guy, but this is one of the most versatile and useful gadgets on my vest next to my hemostats."
