"Like many of the other reviewers' children, my 4 year old daughter loves her 'Lamby'. The first one was bought when she was a baby and no longer has the power of speech. Recently she has started waking in tears if she can't find him in the night so I thought I'd better get another in case he is ever lost as she would be inconsolable. While he looks and feels exactly the same I think the words of the prayer are slightly different in this version, so it's really just as well original Lamby can't speak anymore. While he is a little expensive it is worth every penny to ensure she will always have her best friend close!"

"If you are looking for a "lovey" for your child, look no further. This lamb is the best gift I have ever given to my child. It says the sweetest prayer..."now it's time to say goodnight, sweet dreams fill my world with light, angles are watching from above to bless me and everyone I love." Now my daughter says that every night. She received her lamb about 2 years ago for Christmas. The speech has since stopped working, but she didn't care she still loves her lambie all the same (and still says the prayer as she knows it by heart). I just recently purchased a replacement because my child would be crushed without her "lambie." When she learned how to read, she told me..."mommy my lambs real name is Orvis" (the tag says Orvis)....too cute. The lamb is larger than you think, I was pleasantly surprised by this when I first received it as it is a little pricey. Well worth every penny though. This lamb brings such joy to my child, it is in my eyes priceless."

"I bought this lamb for my granddaughter 2 years ago. It has long since lost the power of speech, having been through the washing machine a few times and is very scraggy now but she and her "baa" are inseparable. I bought 2 replacement ones in case the first should get lost, but she is still firmly attached to the original!"

"My daughter received this lamb that we named "Mint Jelly" 4 years ago from her Nana. She has not been so loved she is falling apart and threadbare. The voice still works even though it is triggered often. We love this so much and I'm glad it is still available so I can replace it! I just wish it weren't so expensive."

"My daughter, now 5 has had "a" lambie for several years now. It goes everywhere. We had one which was lost on a trip and ordered 3 more. The one she has had for the past 3 years is beat up, but she loves it. We have 2 more in the closet and plan on giving one to our 9 month old daughter. Last year, at pre-k graduation, lambie was even made an honorary class-mate and given a diploma. She lead the class out in their entrance march."

"Megan (now 2 yrs 4 mnths) also has a 'Lamby' - a constant companion since the age of about six months. He's lost his cute American accent, indeed, his whole voice - though this took three or four 'goes' on a sixty degree wash- goes everywhere with Megan, has been crayoned on in nursery, has got sandy at the beach, has been covered in peanut butter and Weetabix and marmite on occasion... but is still very much part of the family, with a lot of love to give."

"Grandpa gave this to my daughter for xmas last year(she is 1). We call it Lamby - it goes everywhere, she sleeps with it everynight and was her first word. It is still super soft - we even have 3 back-ups just incase - LOL."
