Best Fishing Shirt Ever, June 20, 2009
By: alamedamike

"I was given this shirt as a gift prior to a snook fishing trip in Boca Grande,Fl. As you might expect it was very HOT and this shirt was PERFECT. It kept me cool and protected me from the sun, while not inhibiting my casting. Not only would I recommend this shirt, I will be purchasing another...."

Perfect Fly Fishing Shirt, February 11, 2009
By: TARH2O from Boerne, TX

"I bought my first Open Air Casting shirt at Orvis San Jose, CA and loved it so much that I went back and bought another in a different color the very next weekend. It moves with you on your backcast and is light enough to keep you cool even on the hottest days. It is my go-to fishing shirt anytime I have the opportunity to go fishing."

My Favorite Fishing Shirt, September 30, 2008
By: Mudboy from Southern California

"A nice lightweight shirt with plenty of room and airflow to keep you cool in the heat of the day while protecting you from the sun. Generous patch pockets are big enough to hold a small fly box. I really like the strap feature that holds the sleeves in the rolled up position."

Great Travel Shirt, June 22, 2008
By: BillH from Birmingham, AL

"Not a fisherman, but bought two of these shirts to wear on a 10-day, multi-stop D-Day tour with a group of Boy Scouts. The shirts looked great, felt wonderful, and shed wrinkles quickly despite being stuffed in a duffel and dragged around through multiple stops. Great value for travel, and for general leisure wear."

Great shirt for hot weather, January 7, 2008
By: ProHobo from South Florida

"I have been looking for a nice shirt (South Florida) that I can wear all the time - and at work. I started looking at fly-fishing shirts - since they were designed for this climate. However, (after several purchases - and brands) - they have come up disappointing (to many baggy pockets, to busy, wrong weight or blend, etc.)
My wife bought this for me (white - or they say light blue on the website) and it is great - it is dressy enough to wear to work and the 40/40 poly/nylon blend is just right. Not any big baggy pockets either. GREAT SHIRT - I will be buying more.
If you live in the tropics or need something for humid times - something just dressy enough to wear to work - this is a great shirt.
I will be taking these to Costa Rica on my upcoming trip!"

My favorite fishing shirt., October 7, 2007
By: FlyFish2Relax from Colorado

"I know that different people like different kinds of shirts, but this one is my favorite. I probably have a dozen or more fishing shirts, and the Open Air Caster combines all the separate features I like about the others. It's 100% synthetic for fast drying, comes in attractive colors, has a special zipper pocket, UPF protection, and a hidden button down collar. Several people have mentioned that it's a great looking shirt."

"Your open air casting shirt is one of the most comfortable and breathable fishing shirts I have ever worn. I live and fish in South Texas in a very humid and hot climate. However, do away with the trim fit. Flyfisherman don't like trim fits as it interferes with casting etc. Loose and airy is what I want."
