"Great to remove those tiny flies. The special opening serves great for when the fly has gone deep within. The grooves really help to fasten and remove the flies from deep lip-hook sets so those feisty fishies don't thrash around, break your tippet and leave with custom jewelry. Just wished it had a loop for easy lanyard attatchment."

"I have been very happy with my Crocodile pliers using them to remove flies from everything from trout to bluegills to Northern Pike. The unique "croc" jaws make to easy to grab the body of the fly or the bend of the hook. The even work in the very small mouths of bluegills.
Use them to replace your hemostats, barb crimper and line clipper. This one tool does it all...and well!
Orvis also sells the Lippa Tool which is great for landing toothy critters such as brown trout and pike. I also recommend them.
Orvis needs to sell the sheath that Rising offers that holds both the Lippa and the Crocs. It's really nice to have the whole set up on your belt."
