The Perfect Hanging Travel Kit,

"I travel a fair amount and well, even when I don't this case fits my every day individual life style, perfectly. I leave it hanging behind my bathroom door unfolded. This case offers more than just it's good looks and heritage of the Orvis name it was built on, it is the most practical and functional piece of my everyday life. I originally owned the zippered flip open Orvis Green Battenkill travel kit and have used it for over the last 20 years, that case still looks as new today as it did when it was given to me as a graduation gift from college. (See attached Picture) This Hanging Travel Kit has all the room you could want and more. Even with a ton of stuff in it, folds over and zips with ease,....trust me. Upon receiving this from your Madison, WI. store via UPS, I transferred ALL my items to this Hanging Travel Kit. I was unsure since I am a real pack rat if all my items would fit, they did and I still had room to add my electric shaver with cord, a bottle of contact solution and my glasses in a full size case ......and I still had room left for other things. The function and size is tremendous, there is a place for everything and I mean everything from toe nail clippers to a travel container of Q-Tips ect. The mesh zippered bottom of the fold out, is the perfect place to put your toothbrush, I have not one but 2 electric tooth brushes in there,...being a pack rat I gotta have back up on everything. Over all, this case is a must have for any man, woman or child, mildly whomever you are, you will NEVER and I say it with authentication, NEVER be disappointed with your purchase of this Hanging Travel Kit and that comes from a guy that is Very Very hard to please ! Thank You Orvis !!!"

"I use this bag as an additional storage space for toiletries in my bathroom. It has a permanent spot in back of the bathroom door, hanging from a hook. I keep shaving cream, shaving tin, after-shave, cologne, & an electric shaver in it. It has planty of room for all those things & more, & keeps everything well-organized with compartments & mesh pockets. It's quite attractive, probably the best looking bag of its type that I've seen. For a trip, I just close it up & pack it, & I'm ready to go with all the necessities of shaving. An excellent value for the price, & sturdy."

"I travel for a month or two during the summer and a couple of weeks around Christmas. I tend to pack a lot of stuff and have gone through a couple of toiletry bags. This one, which I received today, is very well made and holds far more than any other I've owned.
Just to test it out, I packed a full size (12 oz) bottle of shampoo, full size (12 oz) bottle of conditioner, full size (7 oz) can of shaving gel, toothpaste, electric toothbrush, cologne, hair gel, electric razor, extra blades, dental floss and some band aids. The bag holds them all easily without swelling, and there's still room to add some more small stuff like a few first aid items. They're in there pretty snugly, of course, but not stuffed beyond capacity.
I wouldn't mind another zip or snap pocket, but given that the bag is designed to hang on the door and provide instant access to items, I understand the decision to forego all but one zip compartment.
This bag fits nicely inside the bottom compartment of the Battenkill Magnum rolling duffle.
I've attached photos of the bag hanging, and the bag closed, both filled with all of the items mentioned earlier.

"My Battenkill Travel Kit fell off our jitney on South Lakeshore Rd. It did battle with a Jeep Comanche. The Comanche lost. And, I still have a near perfect functioning travel kit that went into battle, lived to discuss it & will continue providing demanding service for years to come. My Orvis travel kit also looked incredibly handsome while involuntarily bouncing around the lake."

"I am out for business almost every week and have come to really enjoy Orvis luggage. In fact I own three pieces. I received this as a Christmas gift and in the weeks and months since I have used the Travel Kit every time I travel.
I know this will be with me for years to come; it is so hard to find durable well made luggage and Orvis fits the bill. This kit keeps everything organized and off the counter and it is a snap to pack.
If I would have designed this item, I would have made the hook that the bag hangs from large enough to fit over the top of the door in the bathroom. The way that it is made, it can be challenging to find a place to hang the kit."

"I travel a lot for business and pleasure, and have struggled for years with my kit bags until I found this one.
This bag not only has excellent quality and detail, but it also is so very, very functional. It keeps all of your personal items off of the tops of the sometimes less than cleand and usually cramped sink tops wherever you stay, and will hold everything you need and then some except maybe a hair dryer. It is rugged enough to carry on backpacking trips as well. I leave mine loaded and ready to go at a minutes notice.
I love this travel kit, and highly recommend it to anyone who plans to travel, regardless of destination. Orvis has a lot of great products, and this one is an excellent example of the quality its reputation is based on. This one is a must have and a real bargain for the traveler."
