"Just received this journal today. (I also purchased an extra refill.) I've been looking for a journal like this everywhere and definitely found it here. It wasn't cheap but like they say "you get what you pay for" -- and this journal is well worth its price and more. Everything about it down to the details feels solid and well thought out. Examples: thick but soft leather, riveted brass plate inside inscribed "Col Littleton Journal No. 9," second stitching for the strap. In short, it was clearly made to last a lifetime. No doubt this journal will be by my side whenever I feel like writing. As a published author, I'm glad to have found something to write on that is warm and authentic instead of a drab computer keyboard. Bravo to the fine folks at Col Littleton. Sincerely, Thomas H."

"I have never come across a leather journal quite like this before. It was pleasing to the eye on the web but when it arrived I was blown away. First of all, the presentation box and packaging have an authentic wild west feel and add to the experience of seeing the journal for the first time. It really is special, quality thick leather, my initials stamped on the front, the individually numbered oval brass plaque inside. This journal will last me forever. Most important feedback was from my hard to please children who are in their mid twenties, they both want one! Thank you Col. Littleton I am now going to buy your Leather Satchel and Saddlebag Briefcase."

"I really enjoy this journal. The only let down is that the leather is tied fairly tightly, so the pages don't open as much as I had hoped. Beautiful leather, good feel. I love having my initials in it, really makes it my own. I've honestly never seen another journal like it."
