"This coat is a perfect light windbreaker for those "in-between" fall days and the slightly dressier occasions that may come . The loden color is deep and rich, and while I was first put off a bit by the leather pocket trim, it is more subtle than in its photographs, and is actually very nice. The woven leather buttons give the coat a very traditional, old school look. Combines nicely with khakis or darker dress pants."

"I have to start with the bad presentation it made right out of the box. I took off the bag and noticed a 6 inch string hanging from the top button and gave it a tug and the top button fell to the floor. I didn't pull the strings hanging from the second and third buttons because I knew the same thing would happen. IF I decide to keep the jacket I have to have all the buttons sewn on before I can wear it. Can't say I care for that or the hassle of sending it back to be replaced. The coat looks decent though. But I see it as limited wear for Maine weather. It's not meant for cool or wet weather at all. Sunny and mid 50s to low 60s at best. Of course you can layer under it and look good doing so; just stay out of the rain."
