"I have bought 10-12 Montana Morning sweatshirts over the years and have had excellent results. However, the last two I bought 1-2 years ago (w/ button placket and collar) have shrunk in length so I would suggest ordering a size larger or a least talk to customer service rep before ordering."

"I bought the sweatshirt in red, but now it is pink. Have tried to be careful washing it--cold water etc. but still looks washed out. Also, the top of the collar has started to fray and I don't wear it that often. In a perfect world, the pockets would be alittle deeper. Always worrying if I'm going to lose my keys."

"Like almost all of the other reviewers, I find Montana Morning sweatshirts ideal. The fit is just perfect, and they are so warm, and comfortable, but......as other wearers have commented, sometimes greasy stains will just not wash out of certain colours in the range. In desperation, you then try stain removal products, and you end up with a much lighter patch, invariably on the front of your sweatshirt. There is just one other point I would like to make........what has happened to the black colour ? I can't seem to get hold of one anywhere. Please reintroduce ASAP. Large size required (42"- 44" chest). Kent, UK."

"Have two M Morning sweater, black fine, but dark pink one have had major problem with marks etc can not get clean, tried usual products to no avail.
Washing is fine for black one, but D pink will not get properly clean.
NB no shrinkage issues yet on either

"On purchase the sweatshirt looked and felt terrific. Several cold water washings later, it was badly faded and appeared much older than it actually was. While I liked the look, the quality and fade resistance need work."

"I read alot of the reviews prior to purchasing this sweatshirt. I agree that it is comfortable, but I'm not crazy about the way it has washed. I follow all the directions. I wash in cold water only and dry on light setting, but the garment seems to have shrunk more than I would have expected. I am 5' 8" with 33" arm length, and the sleeves are now a bit too short, as is the length, which is really unusual for me. I always seem to be trying to pull it down in those areae. I purchased it last winter, so I haven't had it a long time. I don't think I would but another, especially at full price. Thankfully I got it on sale."

"I've owned lots of sweatshirts, but my Montana Morning shirt is the best of the lot. So, good I just purchased my second one and I'm sure there will be more in the future. The convenience of the zipper top and the side seam pockets are the top features that set it above all the rest. It is great to use in layers to ward off the winter chill or to grab for spring or fall mornings until the sun warms things up. It has been laundered many times and still looks new."

"I have had my Montana Morning for a couple of years now. Love the look, love the features......but the performance in the wash has been disappointing. Always washed in accordance with the instructions, anything which caused the slightest mark just doesn't come out. So, I have a small white patch on the front and something else on a sleeve. Which is a shame as I love to wear it so much but have to keep it for round the house. I would like to buy another, but hey, I'm worried the same will happen."

"The Montana Morning sweatshirt is a really nice sweatshirt. It's soft and comfortable, the colors are nice, it doesn't shrink when washing, and having the side pockets is a treat on a frosty Washington State morning. I like the Barn Red one so much that I'll be ordering more once they get some more colors in stock. Highly recommended. One caution: The pigment dye on these sweatshirts - Barn Red in my case - bleeds like crazy, so be sure to wash them separately to avoid an unpleasant surprise."
